Colorado landlord/tenant legislation effective January 1st, 2026

Colorado’s house bill 25-1090 makes big changes to how landlords can bill their tenants for utilities. This affects water billing, and effectively makes RUBS (Ratio Utility Billing System) illegal. In this podcast, we talk to Aimee Bove of Bove Law to get the scoop on what the changes are and what Colorado landlords need to do to comply.
